Achara was born in Bangkok, Thailand to a Thai mother and British father. She moved with her family to Jakarta, Indonesia at the age of 3 and began participating in school concerts and plays. Shortly after moving back to Bangkok when she was 12, she was discovered by a model scout and started modeling in her spare time. Pretty soon she was appearing in numerous publications, commercials and music videos and from there it was a short leap into the world of acting. For the next 6 years Achara continued modeling in Bangkok and also appeared in a Thai movie and starred in a couple of Thai soap operas. After graduating from high school, Achara moved to the UK where she studied Drama and Theatre Studies at Royal Holloway University of London where she gained a BA and then went on to do postgraduate studies at The Oxford School of Drama. She spent a few years working in London, appearing in commercials and theatre. After working professionally in London for several years, Achara moved to North America where she worked in Vancouver, Canada and has lived and worked in Los Angeles, California where she appeared in film, television and commercials.
