Two (metal band)
2wo is an industrial metal band formed by former Judas Priest lead singer Rob Halford after the break-up of his first solo project, the street-metal experience known as Fight. 2wo featured guitarist John Lowery and producer Trent Reznor. Unlike his previous projects, 2wo was much different than anything he did before; his signature operatic vocals were replaced by rather depressing and melancholic vocals. Thoughtful, darker lyrics are also seen, as well as a grooving rhythm section that mirrored techno music. 2wo's debut album, Voyeurs, was released in 1997, but sold poorly. This album was what Halford's fans considered to be the worst album the singer has ever released; due to this opinion, many fans would rather not consider this an album by Halford. Two years later, after only one album Rob Halford disbanded the ill-fated group and returned to metal music with the release of Resurrection in 2000, under the name of Halford.
