Area: Women’s Health in India

Section on reproductive health You’re right, I think it’s worth considering changing the name of this section as it only focuses on maternal health. The general facts that you have (at least the first two) seems pretty related to maternal health as well so when you begin to draft, you can incorporate that into the same section and change the title of it. Given this changing of the title but also the important of reproduction health to the overall article, you should consider starting a new section on reproductive health and begin to focus on this as you continue looking for scholarly sources.

Factors -Is this a new section you’re starting? Could you be more specific in the title? Factors about what?

-Not sure if you’re just jotting down notes as of now but when you actually start the drafting, it might look better structurally to have less bullet points and more paragraph style. This will allow your drafting to be smoother and have more clarity.

-For Thaddeus & Maine, you mentioned their names but you should still cite at the end of the sentence. It doesn’t look like you cited any of them but it’s pretty easy to do, you just click cite at the top of your page when you’re editing and then you can put it manually. The way you have citations right now with the last names of the authors is more of how you would cite in an essay but your sources need to show up at the bottom and it will do that automatically when you include the citation after a given sentence or phrase.

-You have really good information and I think you’d have a really powerful section if you put all of those together rather than separately as you have them right now.

You have great stuff but remember to cite so that it shows up at the bottom.

It’s unclear whether this is stuff that you will copy onto the wiki article or if you just have bulleted notes of information that can be useful to add throughout the article. Whatever the case, I think you talk about a very focused subject and so it would be worth making a subsection on the government public health initiatives section that you’re working on to talk specifically about Sakhis and the NGOs.

Responding to Peer Review I think my main takeaway from this peer review is to work on consolidating my draft so far so that the sentences flow more smoothly as a paragraph rather than a bullet-point format. I also need to make sure that my work is cited properly because I have not added in text citation yet. Additionally, for my area article, I should start looking into how antenatal care functions within the sphere of reproductive health and not just maternal health. For example, does poor antenatal care result in reproductive challenges for mothers after the birth of the child? I will also look further into sakhis and similar programs for my sector research.
