Request reason:

frivolous and wholly unjustified charge of vandalism. I've made half a dozen small corrections of grammar and spelling to entries; there's no way these could be classed as vandalism

Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

We can't unblock you at this time, because you haven't given us the information we need to look into your block. You yourself were not blocked; if you were prevented from editing, you must have been autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. I'm removing your unblock request because there's nothing we can do without this information. If you are still autoblocked by the time you read this message:

  1. Try and edit the Wikipedia:Sandbox by clicking here.
  2. Copy the {{unblock-auto|...}} code generated for you under the "Autoblocked?" section.
  3. Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page and click save.

If you are not blocked from editing the sandbox then the autoblock on your IP address has already expired and you do not need to do anything more. Daniel.Bryant T · C ] 09:03, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Daniel: please can you clarify exactly what information it is that you need me to provide in order for you to decide to unblock me?

Blocking admin: Can't sleep, clown will eat me (talkblocks)
Block message:

repeated vandalism from this range, sorry - AO

WARNING: If you were blocked directly then you are using the wrong template and your block will not be reviewed since you have not provided a reason for unblocking. Please use {{unblock | reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} instead.

Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, or when you need checkuser assistance, please place {{subst:Unblock on hold-notification | 1=86.129.67.113}} on the administrator's talk page. Then replace this template with the following:

{{unblock-auto on hold | 1=Can't sleep, clown will eat me | 2=<nowiki>repeated vandalism from this range, sorry - AO</nowiki> | 3=86.129.67.113 | 4= | 5=~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting decline reason here with any specific rationale. If the decline= parameter is omitted, a reason for unblocking will be requested.

{{unblock-auto reviewed | 1=86.129.67.113 | 2=<nowiki>repeated vandalism from this range, sorry - AO</nowiki> | 3=Can't sleep, clown will eat me | decline=decline reason here ~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting accept reason here with your rationale:

{{unblock-auto reviewed | 1=86.129.67.113 | 2=<nowiki>repeated vandalism from this range, sorry - AO</nowiki> | 3=Can't sleep, clown will eat me | accept=accept reason here ~~~~}}

Request reason:

I'm resubmitting my unblock request because I think it was unfairly removed by Daniel Bryant. I was originally blocked by the administrator Can't sleep, clown will eat me; the reason given was repeated vandalism. This charge is baseless - I've made no more than half a dozen corrections to entries, almost all of which were corrections of grammar or spelling. I do not understand why my first request to be unblocked has been declined, since I followed exactly the instructions on the "what to do if you're blocked" page. Daniel Bryant's statement that I hadn't provided the information necessary for my unblock request to be processed is wholly mysterious - I don't see what other information there is that I'm supposed to supply. Please unblock me.

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=I'm resubmitting my unblock request because I think it was unfairly removed by Daniel Bryant. I was originally blocked by the administrator Can't sleep, clown will eat me; the reason given was repeated vandalism. Please unblock me. |3 = ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

{{unblock reviewed |1=I'm resubmitting my unblock request because I think it was unfairly removed by Daniel Bryant. Please unblock me. |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:
