Biography
HeavyHeavyLowLow is a metalcore band from San Jose, California. The band is a five-piece. Forming in early 2004, the band started as more of a screamo unit while finding their own sound. Bringing in so many different influences musically HeavyHeavyLowLow create music, which is emotional and expressive. They break the mold of 'verse, chorus, breakdown, verse, chorus, breadown' by writing dynamic and energetic songs. Often combining grinding guitars, creative bass lines, guttural vocals, and a blast beat or two, they have developed a sound that is somewhat unique. During their live shows they tend to play 10-12 songs, clocking in at about 20 minutes with no breaks in between songs. While the band's live set is impressive for it's speed, the band has been criticized for it's quality. This may or may not be related to the rumors surrounding the band about pre-show substance abuse.
The band is currently on tour with Ed Gein , Nights Like These and Ligeia, and spent most of last year touring with The Fall of Troy. they will be touring with the warriors
