Rajaram Guraka (Nehru Municipal High School) is a senior secondary English-language school located in Jharsuguda, Odisha.[3][4][5] There are two G.H.V.M.s, one located in the Jharsuguda District of Odisha[2]and the other located in Puri, Konark.[6]

G.H.V.M, is a progressive co-educational English Medium school named after their founder-cum-chairman Shri Ghanashyam Jena and his wife SMT Hemalata Devi.[1] The financial establishment of the Vidyalaya is attributed to the founder, the FCI workers’ union, and the petroleum products handling and Careers Employees Union.

Introduction

The first G.H.V.M Jharsuguda building was established on a 13 acre site in 1995. Currently, the school functions under the direction of Mr. Pabitra Mohan Behera (Secretary) and the managing committee of the Ghamnashyam Hemalata Vidyamandir Society (registered under the Society Registration Act no. NO.S/27929 of 1995, Delhi). Affiliation No. 1530088[7][2] up to 10th standard, the school is planning to go up to senior secondary education in 2016, School Reg. No B53014.[8]

This school is one of the 21,405 C.B.S.E affliated schools in India.[1][9][7]
