36th Street station, also known as Sansom Common station, is a SEPTA subway station in Philadelphia. It is located on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania in a tunnel underneath the corner of Sansom and 36th Street, and serves Routes 11, 13, 34, and 36 of the SEPTA Subway–Surface Trolley Lines. Trolleys serving this station go eastbound to Center City Philadelphia and westbound to the neighborhoods of Eastwick and Angora and the Delaware County suburbs of Yeadon and Darby. It is about a block and a half walk away from the 36th Street Portal where one may connect to the 10 trolley.
