Yuri Viktorovich Kushnarev (Template:Lang-ru; born 6 June 1985 in Moscow) is a Russian rugby union player. He plays as a fullback or as a fly-half.
Club career
He first played for VVA-Podmoskovye Monino, from 2003/04 to 2012/13, where he won seven titles of Russia, then for RC Kuban, in 2013/14. Kushnarev plays for Yenisey-STM Krasnoyarsk since 2014/15.
International career
He has 105 caps for Russia, since 2005, with 10 tries, 147 conversions, 136 penalties and 1 drop goal scored, 755 points on aggregate. Kushnarev was part of the Russian squad at the 2011 Rugby World Cup, playing in three games and scoring one penalty.[1][2] He also played at the unsuccessful attempt to qualify for the 2015 Rugby World Cup and was a key player in the team that reached their qualification for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. He has been one of the best players and top scorers for Russia.
