Notes:
  1. ^ If the third-placed team finishes 15 or more points ahead of the fourth-placed team, then the promotion play-offs are not played and the third-placed team is promoted to Serie A.
  2. ^ a b Spezia are ahead of Cittadella on head-to-head goal difference: Spezia 1–0 Cittadella, Cittadella 0–1 Spezia.
  3. ^ a b Crotone are ahead of Ascoli on head-to-head goal difference: Ascoli 3–2 Crotone, Crotone 3–0 Ascoli.
