The Piers Gaveston Society is an exclusive dining club at the University of Oxford with a membership limited to 12 undergraduates. Named after the eponymous lover of King Edward II of England, its members have a reputation for indulging in bizarre entertainments and sexual excess [1]. Past members include Hugh Grant[2], Darius Guppy, Count Gottfried von Bismarck [3] and Tom Parker-Bowles, the step-son of Prince Charles.
