I am interested in Bernard Meakin cricketer 1885 - 1964, my grandfather. His Wikipedia entry shows him as playing for Gloucestershire 1906 - 1922: this is curious because he was Staffordshire born, although he did go to school at Clifton (in Gloucestershire) possibly 1898 - 1903. In addition, the Wikipedia page "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Staffordshire_cricket_captains" shows him as a Captain of Staffordshire County Cricket Club (CCC): I know this from family history, but do not know the dates. I would like someone to verify whether he did play for Gloucestershire and, if not, correct his main Wikipedia entry. At least, I would like someone to add his captainship and membership of Staffordshire CCC to his main Wikipedia entry. (I hope that this input is suitable and proper.)
