Project 20386 is a new corvette class being constructed for the Russian Navy. Based on the Template:Sclass-, the new ships will be larger and include stealth technology. The lead ship of the class was laid down on 28 October 2016 and is expected to enter service after 2020.[2][3] There are plans to build a series of at least 10 such corvettes.[1]

History

In February 2019, it was reported the technical readiness of the lead ship reached 12%.[4]

On 9 April 2019, Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoygu announced, the lead ship of the class will be named Merkuriy (Mercury).[5][6]
