To report an error in content currently or imminently on the Main Page, use the appropriate section below.
- Where is the error? An exact quotation of the text in question helps.
- Offer a correction if possible.
- References are helpful, especially when reporting an obscure factual or grammatical error.
- Time zones. The Main Page runs on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, currently 02:31 on 11 January 2025) and is not adjusted to your local time zone.
- Can you resolve the problem yourself? If the error lies primarily in the content of an article linked from the Main Page, fix the problem there before reporting it here. Text on the Main Page generally defers to the articles with bolded links. Upcoming content on the Main Page is usually only protected from editing beginning 24 hours before its scheduled appearance. Before that period, you can be bold and fix any issues yourself.
- Do not use {{edit fully-protected}} on this page, which will not get a faster response. It is unnecessary, because this page is not protected, and causes display problems because this is not a talk page. (See the bottom of this revision for an example.)
- No chit-chat. Lengthy discussions should be moved to a suitable location elsewhere, such as the talk page of the relevant article or project.
- Respect other editors. Another user wrote the text you want changed, or reported an issue they see in something you wrote. Everyone's goal should be producing the best Main Page possible. The compressed time frame of the Main Page means sometimes action must be taken before there has been time for everyone to comment. Be civil to fellow users.
- Reports are removed when resolved. Once an error has been addressed or determined not to be an error, or the item has been rotated off the Main Page, the report will be removed from this page. Check the revision history for a record of any discussion or action taken; no archives are kept.

- Bierlein: Should read "Chancellor of Austria" since used as a title. Also conflicts with capped style used for Marape. Jmar67 (talk) 03:27, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
- In U.S. English, titles are capped only when followed (without commas) by names. Sca (talk) 12:29, 2 June 2019 (UTC)

Errors in Did you know...
- Someone pull the hook about Sommen from Template:Did_you_know/Queue/5, please. (1) The prose quality is awful. (2) Also, we don't know about the mainstream acceptance of the particular theory (I don't have any knowledge about the lake but I've heard about several hypothesis in similar domains, which have been challenged, disproved, reproved and what not) and absent that, focusing on a particular theory does nothing but a promotion of the researcher. ∯WBGconverse 15:03, 2 June 2019 (UTC)

- The Anefo article says it ceased to exist in 1989 and makes no reference to being part of the National Archives. What is likely meant is that the collection is part of the archives. Also, "Dutch national archives" is being used as a proper name and should be capitalized. Suggest therefore: "The photograph is in the collection of the Algemeen Nederlandsch Fotobureau (General Dutch Photo Bureau, also known as Anefo). This collection is now part of the
Dutch National ArchivesNational Archives of the Netherlands." Jmar67 (talk) 03:59, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
- But the Dutch in Dutch National Archives may be interpreted as being part of the proper noun, especially if it is part of the wikilink. Perhaps the Netherlands' is better than the Dutch. (Also, Nationaal Archief uses national archive (singular), but that wikilink redirects to national archives (plural), so that should be changed there.) --173.129.29.199 (talk) 04:49, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
- Yes. I have updated Nationaal Archief as suggested and replaced "Dutch National Archives" with "National Archives of the Netherlands", which is the translation in the article. Jmar67 (talk) 05:40, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
