It is
proposed that this article be deleted because of the following concern:
This article has existed since 2004, and since this time nobody has been able to agree upon what the definition of a C-semiring actually is. If you look at the article's history, you will see that every couple of years the definition has been altered, and there have been several very different definitions throughout this time. As the article currently stands, a C-semiring is defined as being just an idempotent semiring, and therefore there is no need for the article since idempotent semirings are defined in the article 'Semiring'. Moreover there are no sources and no mathematics concerning C-semirings has actually been presented, so unless somebody can present a non-trivial part of the theory of C-semirings the article should be deleted.
If you can address this concern by improving, copyediting, sourcing, renaming, or merging the page, please edit this page and do so. You may remove this message if you improve the article or otherwise object to deletion for any reason. Although not required, you are encouraged to explain why you object to the deletion, either in your edit summary or on the talk page. If this template is removed, do not replace it.
