I'm a programmer working on the Ghost disk cloning program, in Auckland, New Zealand. I'm also a part-time student at Auckland University, a Chemistry major but working on a couple of Biology/Biochemistry stage I papers this year.

Tributes to my work on Wikipedia

Wikimedal for Janitorial Services

I've written an assortment of articles, but spend most of my time on Wikipedia categorising articles, fixing bad links, spelling and grammar, or doing vandalism patrols. TB's reports on bad links have proven invaluable in this janitorial work. He suggested that I award myself a wikimedal for janitorial services; I'm not sure that I'm supposed to award it to myself, but I do feel I've earned it.

I became an administrator of the English Wikipedia on 11 December 2004.

An anonymous contributor left this message after I rolled back one of his or her edits:

You are fired. Pacing while thinking, smocking crack and editing Wikipedia is not permitted by this company. You have until the end of the business day to clear out your office and your locker.

Another anon decided to support my nomination for adminship after I rolled back some of their work: they added "I guess" to the list of support votes. Alas, it wasn't a valid vote.
