The Special Operation Battalion, King's Guard, 3rd Special Forces Regiment, King's Guard (Template:Lang-th) (พัน.ปพ.รอ.รพศ. 3 รอ.) also known as 90th Task Force (Template:Lang-th) is a special mission unit and special operations Battalion of the Royal Thai Army. It is currently a part of the 3rd Special Forces Regiment, King's Guard Royal Thai Army Special Warfare Command.[1]

History

The 90th Task force was founded by the 1st Infantry Division King's Guard in 1981. The unit was promoted to King's Guard in 2017.[2][3]

Mission

90th Task Force is a helicopter-borne infantry assault unit[4] tasked with carrying out special operations and counter-terrorism.[5]
