Bhutan?

The article says "The four guns on Magnetic Island had been en route to Bhutan until it fell to the Japanese". Bhutan is in the Himalayas - why would it need 6-inch coastal defence guns? And it never fell to the Japanese. Peter Bell (talk) 06:38, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Peter Bell: yes, it is a bit odd. Indeed, I wonder if the subject of this article is identical to Magnetic Battery and should be merged. That article says the guns were en route to Manila which sounds a lot more plausible. Kerry (talk) 14:10, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
