Frontiers in Physics is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal covering physics. It was established in 2013 and is published by Frontiers Media, who were included in Jeffrey Beall's now-defunct list of "potential, possible, or probable predatory publishers".[1]. The editor-in-chief is Alex Hansen (Norwegian University of Science and Technology).

Abstracting and indexing

The journal is abstracted and indexed in Current Contents/Physical, Chemical & Earth Sciences,[2] Science Citation Index Expanded,[2] and Scopus.[3] According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2018 impact factor of 1.895.[4]
