List of WWE 24/7 Champions
The WWE 24/7 Championship is a professional wrestling championship created and promoted by the American professional wrestling promotion WWE. The championship carries the special rule that it can be defended "24/7", as in any time, anywhere, as long as a WWE referee is present. Because of this rule, the championship is defended across all of WWE's brands: Raw, SmackDown, 205 Live, NXT, and NXT UK, as well as outside of regular WWE shows, often with videos posted on WWE's website and social media accounts. It is similar to the previous WWE Hardcore Championship, which also had a "24/7 rule".
The title was introduced on the May 20, 2019, episode of Monday Night Raw where Raw wrestler Titus O'Neil became the inaugural champion by securing the championship first in a scramble involving several other wrestlers. The current champion is SmackDown's R-Truth, who is in his record eighth reign. Truth pinned Drake Maverick during Maverick's wedding on June 20, 2019, shown on WWE.com and WWE's official social media accounts on June 21.
As of December 19, 2024, there have been thirteen reigns between six wrestlers. SmackDown's R-Truth has the most reigns at eight with his fifth reign being the longest at 12 days. Only two wrestlers have held the title for longer than a day: current champion R-Truth and 205 Live's Drake Maverick. SmackDown's Jinder Mahal has the shortest reign for his first reign, which lasted only 11 seconds, as after winning the title, he immediately lost it back to R-Truth. Truth is also the oldest champion, winning the title at 47 years old, while SmackDown's Elias is the youngest, winning the title at 31. Among the brands, SmackDown has had the most wrestlers win the championship at three, while Raw has had two and 205 Live has had one.[1]
