Uniform

Severn Stars are an English netball team based in Gloucester & Worcester, England and compete in the Netball Superleague.[2] The team represents parts of the South West & West Midlands regions. The team was formed in 2016, during the expanding of the Netball Superleague. Severn Stars are jointly owned by the University of Gloucestershire and the University of Worcester. Home games are played at the University of Gloucestershire & Worcester University Arenas.

History

Severn Stars was added to the Netball Superleague after England Netball announced the expanding of the league.[citation needed] Yorkshire Jets was replaced with the Stars along with newcomers Sirens (netball) and Wasps Netball.[citation needed]

2017: Inaugural season

The Stars finished 7th in their debut season and was coached by former Australian Diamonds veteran Mo'onia Gerrard. The Stars lost their debut game to defending champions Surrey Storm 58-40.[3]
