Rakshasudu (transl. Demon) is an upcoming Indian Telugu action thriller film directed by Ramesh Varma. The film features Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles and it is the official remake of the 2018 Tamil film Ratsasan. Featuring music composed by Ghibran, the film began production in March 2019. This film has to be initially released on 18 July 2019 but later the date changed to 02 August 2019

This movie has very heavy competition for Telugu remake rights... Actor Nithiin name is first heard from Tollywood... Later rumors are spread like Few Actors like Gopichand, Sudheer Babu etc.,are doing this movie...
Finally in April 2019 official telugu remake was started by
Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran under the banner of A Studios Havish Koneru and Abhishek Pictures Produced by Satyanarayana Koneru and Directed by Ramesh Varma ...This remake teaser is released on 01 June 2019 in YouTube and it gets good response from telugu audiences. In the trailer the actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas look is different from all his above movies. The telugu makers not to reshoot the scenes almost add the original scenes and cast from Ratsasan in this remake... Almost all telugu people
are watched original version but they are also waiting for this movie on 02 August 2019...
