Vrushika Mehta (born 18 February 1994) is an Indian actress and professional dancer known for playing Sharon Rai Prakash in Channel V's Dil Dosti Dance and Asmita "Puchki" Shan mazumdar in Zee TV's Yeh Teri Galiyan.
Life and family
Mehta was born in Ahmedabad, India and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.[1] She completed her graduation from Tolani College of Commerce.[2]
Career
VMehta made her television debut with Channel V's Dil Dosti Dance as Sharon Rai Prakash opposite Shantanu Maheshwari.[3]
Then she featured in two episodes of Yeh Hai Aashiqui. In one episode she played the character of Ruksar Malik opposite Shantanu Maheshwari[4] and in the other she played the role of Twinkle.[5] She has also dubbed for some episodes Yeh Hai Aashiqui.[6] Later in 2015 she was a part of episodics like Zing's Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Zee TV's Fear Files. In Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya she played Shanaya.[7] In Fear Files she played Navanita.[8]
In 2015, she played Amrita Prasad in Twist Wala Love opposite Rohan Gandotra.[9] Next, she entered Satrangi Sasural as Kaira, an innocent and bubbly girl opposite Ravish Desai who was later replaced by Rahul Sharma.[10] In 2016, she hosted reality travel based show Desi Explorers Jordan.[11] In July 2016, she entered Ishqbaaaz as Ishana.[12]
Then, she played Tamanna in Viu's Truth or Tamanna. From 2018 to present, she has been portraying Asmita "Puchki" Kumari in Zee TV's Yeh Teri Galiyan.[13]
