Castle Wars

Castle Wars is a subgame of the MMORPG Runescape. Players are divided into two teams: Saradomin and Zamorok.

In Castle Wars, each team starts out with it's own castle, and a flag within that castle. The goal of the game is to siege the enemys castle, steal the enemy's team flag, and bring that flag back to your own castle to score.

Map

The Castle Wars map has a few major features as follows:

Two castles. Zamorok's castle, and Saradomin's castle.

A river starting at the north-eastern corner of the map, extending diagonally down to the south-western side of the map. There is a bridge over the middle to an island, and a bridge leaving that island to cross to the other side.

A small island dividing the river into two in the center of the map. The river merges into one river on either side of the island. The island has a few buildings on it, and 2 ladders reaching down into the basement level.

A basement sublevel. This basement has 4 entrances, 2 on the island in the center, and 1 in each of the castles. There is a center cavern, and 4 paths reaching out from that cavern. The center cavern contains 2 ladders leading to the island. There are 4 paths branching out from the main cavern, 2 towards each castle. They eventually meet at the end, and there is a ladder leading up into the castle.
