  1. ^ If the third-placed team finishes 15 or more points ahead of the fourth-placed team, then the promotion play-offs are not played and the third-placed team is promoted to Serie A.
  2. ^ a b Spezia finished ahead of Cittadella on head-to-head points: Spezia 1–0 Cittadella, Cittadella 0–1 Spezia.
  3. ^ Palermo were initially deducted twenty points for financial irregularities, they were excluded from the 2019–20 Serie B on 12th July 2019.
