Swarup Dutta was a Bengali actor.
Early life
Dutta was born in Dutta Ffamily of Hatkhola, Kolkata in 1941. In 1958 he passed Matriculation from the South Point School, Kolkata and completed I.A. from Belur Ramkrishna Mission Vidya Mandir. Dutta became graduated in Economics from St.Xaviers’ College.
Career
He was came into contact with vetran actor Utpal Dutt. First break through of hios career is Apanjan, a popular drama film of Tapan Sinha released in 1968. He played the role of hero in number Bengali films of late 60s and early 70s.
