Vidhu Vinod Chopra
Vidhu Vinod Chopra is an academy award- nominated Indian producer and filmmaker. He is also the head of Vinod Chopra Productions.
Background
Chopra was raised in Srinagar, Kashmir, India and studied direction at the Film and Television Institute of India.
Career
His film An Encounter with Faces was nominated for an Oscar in the short, non-fiction film category in 1979.
He has also been involved with a number of critically acclaimed films including Parinda, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and its sequel, Lage Raho Munna Bhai as well as with Parineeta.
