Paul Bako

Gabor Paul Bako II (born June 20, 1972 in Lafayette, Louisiana) is a catcher in Major League Baseball who plays for the Baltimore Orioles. He attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the fifth round of the 1993 amateur draft.

Bako has played for several Major League teams over the years, including the Detroit Tigers (1998), Houston Astros (1999-2000), Florida Marlins (2000), Atlanta Braves (2000-2001), Milwaukee Brewers (2002), Chicago Cubs (2003-2004), and Los Angeles Dodgers (2005). He was signed by the Kansas City Royals on December 16, 2005.

Bako still lives in his hometown of Lafayette, Louisiana in his off-seasons.
