1937 Australian referendum (Aviation)

Constitution Alteration (Aviation) 1936 sought to give the government legislative power with respect to air navigation and aircraft. The question was put to a referendum in the Australian referendum, 1937.

Discussion

This was one of the few instances where an overall majority was overridden by not having a majority of states.
