Tanaka-Iga
Tanaka-Iga is a Japanese company that produces Buddhist religious goods. It is one of the oldest companies on Earth, being founded in ninth century and having been running ever since. The company produces sophisticated and expensive objects and is said to use computers as a blueprint design as opposed to paper.
History
In either 885 or 888 C.E., Tanaka-Iga was founded in Japan. Because of its antiquated founding date, it is the oldest company to sell Buddhist religious items. Currently, it is based in the Japanese city of Kyoto.
Over 1,000 years after the company was founded, in 1975, the very first computer was created. Sometime since then, Tanaka-Iga has abandoned the traditional practice of using paper to make blueprints, and now uses computers to make blueprints.
