The Legend of Luo Xiaohei (罗小黑战记) is a flash animation and web cartoon by Chinese artist MTJJ (real name Zhang Ping).[1][2][3] The franchise has also extended to become a social media sticker series on Wechat. As of March 19, 2018, 27 episodes of "The Legend of Luo Xiaohei" are available alongside 3 extra videos, "Exam Day", "Sh…", and "Goodnight Meow". A feature-length film adaptation named "The Legend of Hei" is slated to be released on September 12, 2019.[4]
The series was adapted to graphic novel in 2015, published by Beijing United Publishing. It has also been turned into a mobile game titled "Luo Xiaohei's Battle Demon Book" (罗小黑战记妖灵簿) by Beijing Manya Entertainment Culture Media Co.[5], and an event for the Chinese/Taiwanese edition of the mobile game Ensemble Stars! includes gijinka of the series' characters.
