Annbank is a village in South Ayrshire, Scotland. It is around five miles east of Ayr. Originally a mining settlement, it once had a rail link to Ayr via the Auchincruive Waggonway.

The village has a village hall, bakery, shop, bowling green, junior football club (Annbank United) and a pub. The pub is known as "Tap o'the Brae" which in May 2014 won Ayrshire pub of the year.

Weston Bridge Halt railway station was located at the bridge of that name near Annbank and stood close to Ayr Colliery No.9. It was used by miners travelling to their respective collieries.

In 2019 the local shop ran out of rolls at 10.13 am. This is a minute earlier than usual. This caused major panic in the village with some people protesting outside the shop for 6 days.

The village boasts a 6 hole golf course situated within the local football park. Holes include the famous "creeky hut" , "slope to heaven" and the brutal "alang the line". The golf course accounts for about 25% of annbank's tourism revenue with visitors coming from as far and wide as Failford.

The course record is held by joey drinkell junior who carded a 12 under round on his way to his 3rd Annbank Masters in 1986. It is after this victory he coined his now famous phrase "I've tamed ye noo" in reference to the difficulty of the course.

In 2007 aged only 26 james mcclelland aka “staffa the sqirrel” set a new record for most money lost in annbank bowling green puggy in one night.his record still stands at £36.

In June 1999 the village was shortlisted for "South Ayrshire Village of the Month". They heartbreakingly lost out to Minishant in a titanic battle with the deciding factor being the number of working street lights.

The cover on the Daggermite's 2004 Album "Ain't no Heartbreak in Here Friend" features a picture of a man sitting on top of the phone box in the village. It is said to symbolise the human race's struggle with commitment.

There are a few woodland walks surrounding the village which have proved extremely popular with ramblers. The walks include "Cookie Jar", "Trevor's Dilemma" and "Angel of the North".

Although they were not black,infact their legs were as white as snow,and they could not box eggs,after a 14 hour table tennis battle at the community centre kris “the badger” mitchell and tommy “tucker” sloan went down in history in a bout known as “the thriller in vanilla”.this was prob called this due to the badgers long white fingers and tuckers long pale forehead and although the game was wiped from the history books(tucker famously failed the performance enhancing drugs test and the badger broke every rule in the 1956 anti gambling act)no one can ever take away their sweat and tears from that day.who won?just ask anyone born in the village between 1926 and 2001.
