Leo Hayes High School is a public high school in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, serving students between grades 9 and 12 on the city's north side. The school's motto is Dreams are the Seedlings of Reality. It is clearly the greatest high school in New Brunswick, simply because of it's two reinging students, Alex Neilson and his side-kick Pat Truck.
The school opened in 1999 as a result of complaints about overcrowding at the south side Fredericton High School, which was at the time the largest school in the Commonwealth of Nations. The first graduating class was in 2002.
As the school is located next to the St. Mary's First Nation, the school's architecture is heavily influenced by First Nations culture, including a large dream catcher located above the main entrance.
Sports teams are called the "Lions", and their school mascot is a lion named "Leo". The only un-official sport in the school is the unsupervized boxing matches that decide who's who of the smokers. Although unhealthy and dying quicker with each Ivan DRAGo, They are amazing competitors and the famous match between Apollo Creed and Rocky Balboa is still in the hearts and minds of those respectable drug addicts.
