Vandalism fixes on Stonewall riots

Thanks for fixing the vandalism on the Stonewall Riots article. I have sometimes found myself trying to revert edits done like that ones you were reverting, so thanks for following through on that. Can you help me understand the process you used to avoid an edit or revert war and prevent yourself getting your account blocked for a time?
