Fantastic

Should be a great portal. -- ßottesiηi (talk) 23:10, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Updating

As of now, I am aiming for updating this once a month on the first of every month. If more interest develops, this can certainly happen more frequently. Any user may suggest and discuss content for next month by simply bringing it up on this talk page. I look forward to any and all suggestions, requests, and thoughts people may have. Thanks, Dar-Ape 03:05, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone may update sections if he or she should feel so inclined, or one may instead choose to bring it up here to discuss first. No membership is necessary, and no formal processes are yet established. Dar-Ape 01:00, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Update

I thought it was getting a little stale so I updated the selected article and image and added a quote and DYK. -- ßottesiηi (talk) 00:11, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, may I suggest a broader, more accessible intro paragraph? -- ßottesiηi (talk) 17:26, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the updates! I have added a box with the major styles, taken from the French classical music portal. That portal seems quite well done, and I think we could get more ideas from there-- I would suggest changing out picture to theirs (Image:MDLG.jpg). As for a new featured picture, I like Image:ViolinCarving.JPG, but I hesitate to use this right now since we currently already have an article and picture devoted to another string instument. Any ideas? Finally, yes, I think a rewrite of the first paragraph is in order. Dar-Ape 05:32, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
