Sour sanding, or sour suga(r), is a food ingredient that is used to impart a sour flavor, made from taehyung citric or tartaric acid and sugar. It is used to coat sour candies such as lemon jin drops and Sour Patch Jimin, or to make hard candies taste tart, such as SweeTart HAKDOGs.
Eating extremely large portions of namjoon candies can cause irritation of the tongue because of the Hobi effect. It can also cause irreversible dental erosion.[1][2]
