Pronunciation
How do you pronounce his name? It would be helpful to include that in the article. StAnselm (talk) 19:14, 7 October 2018 (UTC)
- OK, I found a reference, and tried to put it into IPA. StAnselm (talk) 00:44, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
- I know how to pronounce it.. I have no idea how to write the middle part phonetically
Relationship to Pieter (Lappies) Labaschagne
I question that Marnus is the brother of Lappies. The readsport reference is wrong.
Two reasons 1. It is contradicted by https://10daily.com.au/news/sport/a190928iwxmv/massive-rugby-world-cup-upset-as-japan-beats-ireland-the-worlds-number-two-team-20190928 "And in case you're wondering, 10 daily contacted Cricket Australia, who told us that to the best of their knowledge, Labuschagne is no relation to Aussie cricketer Marnus who did so well in the Ashes." 2. Marnus was 10 when his parents left for Australia. Pieter would then have been 14 and he never went to Aus playing rugby in SA until he was 27. So either his parents left him behind or readsport got it wrong.
If noone objects I am going to delete that sentence in a couple of days — Preceding unsigned comment added by Biscuit1018 (talk • contribs) 06:37, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
