Extensions

Vaishali extension

A small extension of length 2.57 kilometres (1.60 miles) has been constructed and opened on 14 July 2011[8] connecting Anand Vihar station of the Blue Line branch with Vaishali Metro station in Ghaziabad, a satellite city near Delhi.

Najafgarh extension (Line 09) Grey Line (Dwarka - Dhansa Bus Stand)

A branch line from Dwarka station to Najafgarh is being constructed under Phase III and is scheduled to be operational by Sep-2019. The extension will see 3 new stations being added to the blue line. Construction work on this extension started in September 2013.[9]

This line will now be extended to Dhansa Bus Stand, which would be the last project of DMRC's phase III. This extension of underground 1.18 km shall be completed by Dec-2020.

Noida extension

In April 2014 the Delhi Government approved the extension of line eastwards from Noida City Centre to Noida Electronic City (Sector-62). The extended line would have 6 new stations in a distance of 6.75 kilometres (4.19 miles). Later, the Government approved an additional line starting from Noida sector 51 to Greater Noida.[10]

Vaishali and Noida Electronic City extension

A small extension is being made from Vaishali to Mohan Nagar of Redline and further extension of the blue line from Noida Electronic city to Sahibabad is being planned. Main Blue line will join branch blue line at Sahibabad.

Dwarka Sector 21 to Farukh nagar (Haryana) extension

Not yet passed by DMRC for phase V. This line is not yet approved by government.
