Rationale for Revising "Delano grape strike"
Unbalanced Viewpoint
As already indicated in the article itself, there is a very skewed viewpoint that is presented, as the article discusses mostly about the Mexican farm workers and their involvement in the strike and very little about the Filipin@ farm workers.
Historically Inaccurate Statements
Because the article predominantly discusses the actions of Mexican farm workers, there are a few statements that are not entirely accurate because it disregards Filipin@ farm worker involvement.
Missing References
There are a few sentences that are missing citations, so I will be going through each of them to check the credibility of the statement by referring to scholarly references and either adding the citation or deleting the sentences.
Unorganized
I would like to restructure the article to make it more cohesive and organized. There is a subsection under "Strike" named "Geography" that appears to be misplaced and somewhat irrelevant to the article. However, it seems this way because the organization of the article is lacking. I plan to organize each section to hopefully make it easier for future readers to understand when reading the article.
Outline of Planned Work
Causes of the Strike
This section will contain general information as to why the Delano grape strike occurred. I will be focusing on a preceding strike that occurred in Coachella, California that inspired the strike in Delano. I plan to incorporate what previous Wikipedia users contributed to the "Background" section of the current version of the article.

Events of the Strike
In this section, I will be discussing the key events that happened during the Delano grape strike. Additionally, there is a "Geography" subsection under the "Strike" section in the current version of the article that I plan to revise and use in this section. It describes how the grape strike spread into other parts of the nation, leading many Americans to join in solidarity with the farm workers. I also hope to include a brief timeline that outlines the events.
