Miss Asia Pacific International 2016, (MAPI) dubbed as the mother of all beauty pageants in Asia.[2] This pageant commenced in 1968, considered the oldest beauty pageant in Asia[3] based in the Philippines. Forty women from all over the world vied for the crown which was held on November 23rd, 2016. Since its rebirth this year, Miss Asia Pacific International is now under new ownership and management headed by MAPI President, Jacqueline Tan-Sainz.

The finals were held at the Sheridan Beach Resort & Spa on November 23[4] in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. Tessa Helena le Conge of the Netherlands was crowned the revival Miss Asia Pacific International 2016.[5][6]

History

After 10 year-hiatus and managerial changes, Miss Asia Pacific International was re-launched and revived in 2016 with the finals held at Sheridan Beach Resort & Spa in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan which brought Tessa Helena Le Conge of the Netherlands as the ultimate winner.
