– A checkuser has completed a check on relevant users in this case, and it is now awaiting administration and close.

Suspected sockpuppets

For the repeated interest in Rocky De La Fuente (and little else). Joewendt was blocked earlier this week for making legal threats. He would've likely been blocked for edit-warring, regardless. He also has a COI relating to the Reform Party (he's using his real name and he's a party leader, the same party that De La Fuente was a member of) that he did not declare for a long time, that should prevent him editing any pages related to the RP.

The named accounts (and several IPs) have made the same or similar additions of weasel words and aggrandizement and removals of negative coverage, and insist on adding De La Fuente as a "major" candidate, not a "minor" one.

190.6.91.194 (talk+ · tag · contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RBLs · proxy check · block user · spi block · block log · cross-wiki contribs · CheckUser (log)) edited today, very similar in edit summary style to the newly blocked Joewendt account, e.g. putting the link in the edit summary. The other accounts and IPs were already blocked for other obvious reasons or stale (174... is somewhat recent so included just in case). JesseRafe (talk) 13:19, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Danwendt (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki) just tried to speedy delete this investigation, which is kinda charming, and also asked for the love of God that [we] stop removing important info... in an edit that removed sourced info. Cool! Don't know if middle name or relative name, but c'mon, why is he even bothering to use "Wendt" still? JesseRafe (talk) 14:02, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
