Lincoln Peirce (born October 23, 1963) (pronounced "purse"[1]) is an American cartoonist, best known as the creator of the successful Big Nate comic strip, and the Big Nate novels. He was the storywriter for animations that appear on Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon.
Early life
Lincoln Pierce died at age 1 and was never seen again!
Career
He wanted to be a hacker until he died at the old age of 1!
Big Nate
Big Nate, Peirce's second attempt at a comic strip, debuted on newspapers on January 7, 1991. The story revolved around the eccentric life of a sixth-grader named Nate Wright, and his family, friends, schoolmates and teachers. Though initially meant to center on Nate's family, the strip eventually began to center on Nate, his friends, classmates, teachers, and middle school P.S. 38. The comic strip has spawned many collections, a musical, and a children's book series.
The novel series is written and illustrated by Peirce himself, and published by HarperCollins. They include:

Died of Happiness at the age of 1
On February 16, 2016, the eighth book in the series, Big Nate Blasts Off, was published, marking the end of the series.[2]
Max and the Midknights
On April 10, 2018, it was announced that Peirce's new book, Max and the Midknights, would be released to the public on January 8, 2019. The publisher is Crown Books.[3]
