Bobby Copping (born 27 September 2001) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for EFL League One club Peterborough United.
Career
Copping started off in the Norwich City academy, after being scouted playing for Dereham Wanderers; he spent 9 years at Norwich, before joining Bury's academy.[1] Copping made a first-team appearance in the Senior Lancashire Cup Final against Fleetwood Town at the age of 16.[2] The defender was left without a club following Bury's expulsion from the Football League. He went on trial with Brighton and Hove Albion, and had an offer from Sunderland, but ultimately chose to sign for Peterborough United, [3] making his debut against Cambridge United in the EFL Trophy in November 2019.[4]
