Can you please respond? Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 13:11, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Boleyn

sorry the delay to answer you but i'm self learning how to update and amend wiki pages and i'm not even sure if i'm answering you correctly. About references i'm putting website where i found but i don't know yet why the reference are just 2 single numbers rather then the whole webisite where i found news by the way i can tell you that some other info that i added i found on my old books of touring cars.

hope you receive my answer

thank you for the help and if you have any suggest or some errors that i did plese let me know

thank you

regards

Thanks, it takes a while to get your head around it all, I appreciate your efforts. The best thing is when you write a piece of information to add your source next to it within < ref> </ref > (without the spaces). 'External links' just means 'suggestions for further reading' rather than 'sources used in the creation of this article'. I'll change the heading to make it clear that this is where you got some of your niformation. If you can add the names of those old books, that would be great too. Thanks again, Boleyn (talk) 20:26, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Forty-1987, can you please add references to this? Boleyn (talk) 16:04, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1995 French Supertouring Championship, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gérard Tremblay (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:39, 26 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

SOurces

You have not responded to my last message, and have created further unreferenced articles. Please add references to these articles; WP:V is at the heart of what we do. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 18:27, 7 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

YOu are continuing to edit, including creating articles where sources aren't clear/uncategorised etc. Please see WP:Communication is required. Communicating is a matter of policy, as seen at WP:DISPUTE and WP:CONDUCT - you risk a block by refusing to respond to other editors' concerns. Please respond to my messages - I'm trying to help resolve an issue, but I can't without you communicating. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 19:59, 7 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

sorry Boleyn i didn't read your message and i'm not yet used to this kind of chat. I'll add source but as i told you previous time all news i write come from touring car world books that i have at home.

Sources

Hi, thanks for responding. WP:Citing sources may help you, it is difficult when you start. When you add information to Wikipedia, you need to give your source. The articles you've been creating have nothing in a 'References' or 'Sources' section. They should have this, with a list of all websites and books you used to create the article. 'External links' just means suggestions for further reading. That can be helpful, but what we really need is to know what your sources were. If you need further help, please post a question at WP:TEAHOUSE. Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 14:54, 8 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi , Greetings. Pls note that your creation of Belgian Procar Championship has been moved to Draft:Belgian Procar Championship as no sources and citations as written to remain published. Content added/edited in Wikipedia needs "inline citation" from independent (third party / secondary / tertiary) reliable source (in any language) for verification to gauge the nobility criteria is met. The articles's inline citation is the WP:BURDEN which it is on the person adding the information. Please note official website, records of sport events or individual player records are consider primary source and not independent source, and social network source such as facebook, twitter, instagram, imbd and etc are considered NOT reliable source and can not be used for citing. Independent reliable source are sources are those obtain from major newspaper, such as The Guardian, Sydney Morning Herald, CNN news and etc. or source obtain from major publisher of the work (for example, Random House or Cambridge University Press). Pls see

  1. reliable source - see WP:RS (Note: Wikipedia can NOT be the source - see WP:CIRCULAR)
  2. primary vs secondary vs tiartiary source - see WP:WPNOTRS
  3. verification - see WP:V
  4. notability - see WP:N
  5. citing source - see WP:Citing sources and WP:Tutorial/Citing sources
  6. citing from internet source - see WP:CITEWEB and its template -see Template: cite web

(Instructions: Citing source from web - Do not copy and past the URL address and paste into the body text, but click "cite" on menu page and fill in the fields as per the Template: cite web and save when it is done). Examples below:

  • To add an in-line text citation for an internet reference: <ref>{{cite web|url = |title = |accessdate = 15 April 2018|author=|last = |first = |work = |date = 15 April 2018|year=|archiveurl = |archivedate = }}</ref>
  • To add an in-line text citation for a paper reference: <ref name="Green">Green, William: ''Observers Aircraft'', page 228. Frederick Warne Publishing, 1991. ISBN 0 7232 3697 6</ref>

(note: remove nowiki tag when input the citation and please change the date as needed. See on source edit view mode.)

Once you have provided inline citations on Draft:Belgian Procar Championship, kindly ping me at my talk page or at your talk page by typing {{ping|CASSIOPEIA}} (please remove "nowiki" upon replying) for me to review the page to get it publish. For more editing help, you could send your question to the friendly and helpful volunteers at the Teahouse. Lastly, I strongly encourage you to visit WP:The Wikipedia Adventure for there are some short and fun exercises on neutrality, verifiability, collaboration, research and sourcing. Thank you and let me know if you need further assistance. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:30, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

hi @CASSIOPEIA: please can you check if i wrote correctly source and external link? thank you regards

Hi Forty 1987, You input the external info; however, what is required from you is to provide "inline citation" where indicated in the article. Please see above message on inline citation instructions. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 09:31, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Super Tourenwagen Cup, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tom Kristensen (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

An article you recently created, Czech Supertouring Car Championship, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, Forty-1987. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Czech Supertouring Car Championship".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Legacypac (talk) 08:26, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
