Northwest High School is a public high school in Jackson, Michigan, United States. The high school's principal is Scott Buchler.[1] It is part of the Northwest Community Schools district.

Athletics

The school chose as its mascot the well-known figure of the Northwest Territories—the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (the "Mounties"). Fittingly with this mascot, the school colors are red and black. The school purchased a mascot costume in 2008, which can now be seen at many athletic events in the district. The following sports are offered at Northwest:[1]

  • Basketball (boys and girls)
