Magic: The Gathering sets project

As follows from its title, the goal is to create articles on each and every Magic: The Gathering set. There's a lot of stuff to be written about them: each set has its own unique theme and some have interesting stories related to them.

Okay, here is the stuff needed in the articles:

  • Overview - the set's theme, logo and expansion symbol should be there too
  • Set theme decks - name and describe the colour of the sets theme decks
  • Set history - some interesting facts and history on the set
  • Set storyline - a summary of the storyline told in the flavor text and relevent novels
  • Mechanics - something about the set's specific keywords and mechanics
  • Notable cards - which cards were the most seeked for by the tournament and casual players around the world, cards with jaw-dropping rules and so on
  • Related links - must have a link to the official Wizards page on that set

There are two templates used for the overview: mtgonblockset (used for unblocked sets like Legends) and mtgblockset (used for blocked sets like Onslaught). Each unblocked set uses gray as the template color and each blocked set uses a color specific to that block (like orange for the Mirage block).

For a good example of how a set article should look check out Onslaught and Weatherlight.
