Tujhse Hai Raabta (English: There's A Connection With You) is an Indian television series that airs on Zee TV. The show focuses on the unspoken connections and bonds between people. It premiered on 3 September 2018.

Plot

Set in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, this is the story of a bitter-sweet relationship of Anupriya & Kalyani, and how their life takes different twists and turns. Kalyani and Malhar's relationship is also featured. The bonds between Kalyani, Anupriya, Malhar, Moksh & Sarthak form the crux of the story.

Kalyani is a young girl who loses her biological mother, Madhuri. She is forced to stay with a woman named Anupriya, who is actually her dad's first wife, making Kalyani an illegitimate child of Madhuri and Atul.

Over time, Kalyani starts accepting Anupriya as her mother as they share a bond and form a friendship. Malhar, a police inspector, gets married to Sampada, despite her having a boyfriend, Atharva Bapat. Malhar starts liking Sampada and they have a baby. Sampada not being able to live with Malhar as she had feelings for Atharv, runs away with Atharv. Kalyani tries to stop her and after a while, Atharv and Sampada are assumed dead. Malhar feeling betrayed goes into a rage. Malhar then forces 18-year-old Kalyani to marry him as his child developed a motherly bond with her by arresting Anupriya. After the marriage, he cleverly names half the house property to him. Not being able to believe Sampada and Atharv are dead, he reopens the case and Kalyani helps him. Over time they share a bond and Malhar starts to develop a soft corner for her. Meanwhile, Sampada and Atharva are actually alive and in hiding. Atharv marries a rich girl who started having a liking for Atharv. Later, both Sampada and Atharv present Mugdha has mentally unstable and admit her into the hospital so they can have her money.

Finally, they come back in Kalyani and Malhar's life as Sampada now wants Moksh back. Shocked to see them alive and wealthy rich, Malhar investigates on them and Kalyani meanwhile protects Moksh from Sampada. Sampada then decides to fight for Moksh's custody case on the basis of having financial stability and Moksh's age. Malhar and Sampada are forced to stay together with Moksh. Atharv cleverly tricks Atul into making Kalyani agree for marriage with Atharv. Malhar stops the marriage and instead of Atharv, he gets married to Kalyani again. Malhar is forced to hand over Moksh to Sampada. Kalyani tries to find ways to meet Moksh and Malhar investigates on Atharv. Both grow a closer connection and Malhar starts having feelings for Kalyani and tells her he will wait for her as she needs to complete her education. Though the court gave Moksh's custody to Sampada, Kalyani can't stop herself meeting Moksh. Seeing this Sampada gets angry and decides to join Moksh in daycare. Malhar then promises Kalyani that we will get Moksh's custody soon and tells to focus on her studies. Besides listening Malhar words Kalyani disguises herself as a nanny and goes to the daycare. Then she starts working as a nanny at that daycare. Sampada came to know this and she finally decides to move away Moksh from this country. Sampada then kidnaps Moksh. Kalyani and Malhar came to know about Sampada's plan. They start searching for Moksh here and there. Finally, they came to know Moksh's whereabouts. Actually an event is going on in that area. Kalyani dresses up like Madhuri Dixit and dances for the song of(Humko aaj ka hai intajaar) and grabs the attention of people over there. Meanwhile, Sarthak, Anupriya, Malhar, Pawar search for Moksh and finally succeed in finding Moksh. Here Kalyani, Malhar, Moksh share a cute moment. The court also handovers Moksh custody to Malhar and Kalyani. Malhar wants to arrest Atharva but he tries to escape and Malhar shoots him on the head. Due to this, Atharava loses his memory and become a 5-year-old kid. Kalyani and Malhar refused to believe this and try to expose Atharav. But later he claims them as his father and mother and started being their confidant. In order to bring his memory back, Malhar tried to hypnotize Atharav. But Kalyani gets hypnotized instead. In order to save the situation in an upcoming Mangal gauri puja Malhar disguises as Meenakshi and wore saree for Kalyani. While these small initiatives bring Kalyani and Malhar closer. Malhar saves Atul from an impending bomb attack. Kalyani decides to get Aparna her aunt married to her long lost husband Waman. While she was busy in preparing in the wedding arrangement Malhar brought his best friend Ketki to their house in his arms, as a victim of a terror attack attaining much displeasure from all of the family members. Kalyani easily get befriended with Ketki and hushes up her being the reason of discord in her marriage with Malhar. Later a series of event took place which frame Atul as a terrorist creating a misunderstanding between Kalyani and Malhar. Ketki later revealed her obsessive love for Malhar to Kalyani making the latter to challenge her that she will expose her. Malhar and Kalyani join hands to protect their country eventually from a bomb blast in the auspicious occasion of Nariyal purnima in 15 August. Malhar saved everyone but Kalyani had to jump in the sea to save Sampada from a Shark attack. Malhar saves his wife and brought her home unconscious. Sampada had a change of heart and she reconciles with Kalyani. Kalyani and Malhar came more close as Malhar had to change her dress as she was unconscious. Ketki plots another plan and force Sarthak almost to marry her as Atul still was in her captivity. Malhar realized that it was Woman who was the mastermind behind the terror attack of 15 Aug not Atul. He arrests Woman, but he ran away eventually from jail. While finding where Atul could be Malhar shockingly get to know that Ketki had been using his benevolence and true friendship to help Woman in planning the terror attack. A heartbroken Malhar says sorry to his wife as she had been trying to caution him for the same over and over again but he did not believe her. After Ketki being exposed Malhar tried to find out Atul, while a mysterious man stalks him every now and then. Malhar find out that Atul is held captivated in an Old music school run by Bapji. Later it is revealed Bapji was none other than his father Madhav Rane who had left him alone with his mother 20 years ago. Malhar found Atul but in order to save his family from Woman; Atul gets shot and sacrificed his life but prior to that give blessing to Kalyani and Malhar and also accept Sarthak and Anupriya's relation wholeheartedly.

Fifteen days after his death, Kalyani finds out Malhar's father and sister Swara along with his stepmother and stepbrother. Malhar is overwhelmed to find his parents and was united to them with Kalyani's effort. Malhar won a medal for bravery and met his father on that occasion. Malhar came to know that his sister had a habit of stealing and decides to bring them home. Though Kalyani and Malhar happily brought them home Swara remained unusually rude and harsh with her parents, Kalyani and Malhar. Malhar's parents accept Kalyani with much love and affection but is hiding a truth from them. They are worried that the mystery of 26 July will bring a storm in their relationship. They tried to stop Kalyani and Malhar to decode the truth, but Swara continued to keep giving them hints specially making a remark that the male members of Rane family should not be trusted at all. Madhav wanted to get rid of Swara and tried to get her married so that she can't reveal the truth of 26th July to her brother and sister-in-law. Later, Malhar helps Kalyani in the arrangements of Ganpati celebration and their intimacy increases, Malhar thanked her for everything and said he needs help from her to make Swara believe that marriage is a blissful thing and it should not be feared at all. Kalyani happily get agreed to his decision and requested Malhar to become a friend of his sister as she found her lonely having major trust issues in relations. Malhar told her that they both need to pose as a very lovey-dovey couple to set an example of perfect marriage in front of Swara. While this bring them even closer. Malhar came to know about that the villagers have posed a resistance to clear the village lake on Aausahib's order. Malhar decides to take the matter in his hands and get a car in an extreme wretched condition revealing its direct connection to the secret of 26 July. Malhar is shocked to know that Sarthak had issued a stay order against the clearance of the lake. Anupriya seeks help from Sarthak to decipher a number from a bill that has not been paid. Kalyani finds out that Swara is very attached to an anklet. She decides to repair it and surprise Swara. Kalyani's plan backfire and she has a panic attack. Malhar on the other while find out a skeleton in the dickey of the car. Kalyani decides to bring Malhar and Kalyani close and perform a Lavani. Her performance worsens Swara's condition made her recalling someone dearest from her past. Swara tries to harm Anu by sliting her hand with a knife. A livid Kalyani vouch to teach her a lesson but later it revealed that it was all done by Asawari, Malhar's step mother. She not only harm Anupriya but create such situation where Malhar misunderstood Kalyani and severly accused her that she had tried to harm his sister to take revenge. This hurt Kalyani too much and she decides to leave his place and stay with her mother. Later Swara clears all the doubt and make Malhar realize Kalyani's innocence .He apologizes to Kalyani but she refused him initially. Later she challenge him to control his anger and said she would only forgive him if would wear orange pant in Navratri celebration. Malhar agreed. Malhar and Kalyani came close during the Navratri celebration. Asawari changed the forensic report to mislead Kalyani and Malhar and they thought that the body found in the pond was of a female who is a dancer, but instead of it its a body of a male. Kalyani and Malhar deduced that someone close is trying to harm Anupriya and Kalyani. Asawari who was the main attacker again misled Kalyani, and all the blame get imposed on Swara. Malhar decides to take medical help to cure his mentally unstable sister. Asawari brought alliance for Sarthak and Anupriya to distract Kalyani more. Ausahib rejected the proposal and slapped Asawari. Anupriya locked herself in a room and refused to marry Sarthak. Sarthak promised her that he will wait for her willful response. Anupriya revealed that she though likes Sarthak very much still she cant marry him . She reveals to Ausahib that she was the one who came to Aurangabad from Solhapur the car with the lady whose skeleton has been found. The woman is the same lady who was killed and was thrown into the pond. Everyone will think that she is the murderer and hence take a stern decision of going far away from Kalyani's life by marrying Adinath and surrendering herself to Solapur police. As the story progresses, the audience will get to know that Sarthak married Anupriya to save her. She initially did not accept it but in her heart she still has feelings for Sarthak. Later it was revealed that the skeleton was of Radheyshyam who was Swara' shusband. Ahir and Aswari have killed him to save their family dignity. While all this was happening. Aaushahib filed a case of fake domestic violence against Malhar's family. Gradually all the misunderstanding was cleared but Ahir in order to get rid of Police kidnapped Moksh. Malhar get shot while saving his child but rescued Moksh finally. Ahir ran away from his clutches though. Malhar and Kalyani celebrate their first anniversary and the latter recreates Shimla in their terrace. Kalyani's best friend Rachit has returned to Mumbai and offered her a job. Kalyani happily accepts it. And start working with Anupriya in the same office. Rachit becomes overly concerned of Kalyani and expressed that he would have proposed her if he had not to leave his school early. Malhar feels hurt and assumes that Kalyani has compromised with the forced marriage . In the meanwhile some Naxals threat Malhar that they will kidnap Kalyani. After making some initial attempts they failed but finally managed to kidnap her. They put a peculiar condition infront of Malhar that he will have to prove himself as a traitor in front of his department if he wants his wife back safely. Malhar threats to kill the Chief Minister and take the blame of being a traitor. Ahir has joined the Naxals, while they take Malhar in their hostage and force him to say that he is involved with the Naxals and are supporting them. A man in a shadowed area , is doing all this. He is an old enemy of Malhar. While on the other hand Anu meets Sarthak's daughter Riddhi and is shocked o know about it.Meanwhile, those Naxals locked him in an unknown place and at the same time they give him a task to show his patriotism by not allowing the flag touch the ground and he proves his love and respect towards the country and at the same time he sees Kalyani's mom [who is already shown dead] Madhuri lying on the graveyard and he finds her unconscious and saves her from getting fired and after lots of trials and tribulation both try to escape from them and they part away and Malhar gets shot and they take him back and Madhuri ends up reaching Deshmukh house and leaves everyone shocked and meanwhile, Atharv also got kidnapped by them and Madhuri's entry has made Anupriya disturbed and she is having fear of loosing Kalyani.
