My view at the peak of Mt. St. Helens in Washington State

I am a student studying Psychology and Biology, with minors in Neuroscience and Music. I am currently involved in two research labs; one that studies the risk factors of Alzheimers Disease and the other that examines the effects of sleep-disordered breathing on circadian rhythmicity. My research interests include circadian rhythms, sex differences, and the neuroanatomy of emotional regulation. In the future, I am hoping to one day pursue a PhD in Neuroscience and eventually work in academia as a professor.

When I am not doing homework or sitting in a research lab, I love to be outside and have been to many parts of the United States in search of new places to hike. Once, I hiked to the peak of Mt. St. Helens. Other interesting places I have been include the Green Mountains in Vermont, Acadia National Park in Maine, and Mt. Hood in Oregon. I spent most of my summer in 2018 hiking the mountains in Croatia, which was a really great experience. I am planning a trip to the East Coast in the summer and will hopefully spend most of my time outside, as well as looking at graduate schools.
