History
99acres was founded by Indian businessman Sanjeev Bikhchandani, who started Info Edge (India) Ltd. in 1995. He is an alumnus of St. Columba's School, Delhi. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi, (Delhi University) in 1984. He completed his MBA from IIMA in 1989. He was given the Padma Shri Award, the fourth Highest civilian award in India, in January 2020.
