The 2020 Leagues Cup will be the second edition of the Leagues Cup organized by Major League Soccer and the Mexican Football Federation.[1] The tournament will feature 16 teams, an increase from the inaugural edition that had eight teams.

Qualification

Draws

New for the 2020 edition of the tournament will be the inclusion of a draw to determine the matchups between clubs from both leagues ahead of the Round of 16. MLS and Liga MX teams will be seeded and drawn to ensure the most competitive matches. The draw date has not been announced yet.

A second draw will take place ahead of the quarterfinals, to allow for reseeding and guarantee the most interleague play possible.
