Title
User:203.13.166.18 your proposal of Delhi Riots is not acceptable since 1. This is only happening in NE delhi, 2. there are many many riots over the years in Delhi. We will need to add year in that case. Currently, the media and news are using NE Delhi riots/ NE Delhi clashes/ NE Delhi violence. so we can drop the year. --⋙–DBigXrayᗙ 14:43, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
Background
DBigXray The background need corrections. It was not about Shaheen Bagh, but new protests started 2 days ago, sit-in protest at Jaffrabad Metro Station/Chandbagh/Maujpur. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 So need immediate correction or else its sending a wrong message. Second, cops helping the pro-CAA rioters for stone pelting 6 and brought trucks of stones at the site for starting riots 7 Dey subrata (talk) 14:45, 25 February 2020 (UTC)

- No it was not for Shaheen Bagh, its totally separate place, better to write "multiple sit-in peaceful protest started". Wait, I am addinng the draft here. Dey subrata (talk) 14:57, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
- alright, I have completely removed Shaheen bagh. Dey subrata please check again. Please add content if I missed something. ⋙–DBigXrayᗙ 15:00, 25 February 2020 (UTC)

Police
What about cops inefficiency and involvements. Reports showing that they could have stopped this before it could have started rather helped the pro-CAA and right wings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Dey subrata (talk) 19:59, 25 February 2020 (UTC)

Complaints
User:Coffeeandcrumbs, In the Indian legal system, Complaint is the first step. As you can see in the inline citation, it notes that 2 complaints were filed. It means that Police has been informed about the incident and a formal police case has been asked to be initiated. Police will then initiate the police case by filing an FIR (report), do the investigation, then file chargesheet and the case will goto court. Hope this helps. I have already clarified this and removed the clarify tag, let me know if you still have questions. --⋙–DBigXrayᗙ 19:20, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
- DBigXray, thanks. I knew it must have been a common term for Indians. I just wanted a little clarification which you have now provided in the article. --- C&C (Coffeeandcrumbs) 19:22, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
- Coffeeandcrumbs, Thanks for bringing this up. It is hard to make an article fit for global readers without useful questions such as this one. regards. ⋙–DBigXrayᗙ 19:24, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
Man who shot at police
Need to add a paragraph on this. [3] [4] [5] [6] —Sarvatra (talk, contribs) 21:24, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
In section "Incidents on 24 February" the line Ratan Lal had received head injuries from a stone thrown at him in Gokulpuri.
was initial report. But per autopsy report, Constable Ratan Lal died of a bullet injury.[7] —Sarvatra (talk, contribs) 21:24, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
- Sarvatra I have included the autopsy report. No RS says the man named Sharukh had killed the cop, so it would be wrong to say that in the article.
- ABP says the pistol holding man was in Jafrabad, while Lal died in Gokulpuri. So clearly they are separate incidents.--⋙–DBigXrayᗙ 21:46, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
- Yeah those two were separate things, I should have written them in different sections. —Sarvatra (talk, contribs) 21:49, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
- Sarvatra, another point is wP:DUE. According to doctors treating the injured more than half were bullet wounds. So clearly there are more than one man shooting around. It is obvious why Media houses are putting too much spotlight on one Muslim guy, I am sure he would have been totally ignored had he not been Muslim. In anycase I am trying to say that the fact that a few media houses are giving him a disproportionate amount of coverage, does not mean Wikipedia must do the same. You can refer to international media and how they are covering the incident. ⋙–DBigXrayᗙ 21:54, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, I didn't mean it at all that the arrested man shot the police constable. Like I said, I should have written both the things in different sections, didn't do so in hurry. —Sarvatra (talk, contribs) 22:08, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
- As far as
It is obvious why Media houses ..... had he not been Muslim
is concerned, I prefer to not add my own opinion or analysis to the article I edit. —Sarvatra (talk, contribs) 22:08, 25 February 2020 (UTC)- Sarvatra, I was responding to your first line, that "need to add a paragraph on this". The article must follow WP:NPOV. ⋙–DBigXrayᗙ 22:11, 25 February 2020 (UTC)

Kapil Mishra has not been proved Guilty, so Don't make him a Scapegoat for your Anti Hindu Hatred.
- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. The article nowhere states that he is guilty. What are you taking about. ⋙–DBigXrayᗙ 05:08, 26 February 2020 (UTC)

Rioters killed Rahul Solanki in cold blood after muslim mobs attacked hindu houses. Removing Kapil Mishra photo
The article in its current form has a lot of details other than the provocative statements by Kapil Mishra. His photo just takes most of the focus away from all those details, as if he's the most important part of the entire article. I say his picture should be removed. Discuss if disagree. —Sarvatra (talk, contribs) 06:27, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
- Sarvatra, He is the central figure in this riot. He has to be mentioned and hence his pic is relevant. I have reverted the removal. I will add more quotes from Mishra. ⋙–DBigXrayᗙ 06:34, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
- I am suggesting only to remove his picture, not any other content, as pictures grab focus. Makes the article look like more about him than anything else. —Sarvatra (talk, contribs) 06:46, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
Lead figures
we didn't find any statement and comment to provoke the people towards riot from Amanatullah Khan. Please remove that person from leadfigure, since he has no link with incident. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rashid Jorvee (talk • contribs)

Many Muslim leaders like owasi have made statements like "1 crore will be ruling 15 crore " This is not a mob reaction but a pre planned event by politicians . As an eye witness they have stored guns swords stones for this purpose. When police fires tear gass balls people cover them with buckets of cold water . From mosques one could observe their respectables asking people to go and fight for God . 103.211.16.206 (talk) 06:41, 26 February 2020 (UTC)

Kapil Mishra is not proven guilty . He is saying that no one should be allowed to make riots so please remove his photograph . It is not his statement because he is leader of people who want caa and riots are done by Anti caa protesters. His photograph makes an impact as if he is the one behind riots. 103.211.16.206 (talk) 06:46, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
